Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center is seeking a Staff Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, treat and discharge plan for patients across acute and outpatient settings. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient function and participate in student education as part of the role.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC, state licensure, and CPR certification, with 0–2 years of clinical practice preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• 0–2 years of clinical practice preferred.
• ASHA CCC is required.
• State licensure is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapy evaluations, treatment planning and discharge planning for a full patient caseload.
• Provide therapy interventions across acute care, skilled facility, rehab and outpatient settings as appropriate.
• Participate in student education (ICE, OT level 1 or full-time student) as applicable.
• Document health progress, daily treatments, notes and discharge summaries.
