Job summary

Mercy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and provide comprehensive individualized treatment programs for assigned patients according to departmental policies regarding referrals.

Education includes a Master's in Speech/Language Pathology with licensure in the applicable state. Current ASHA Certification within 1 year of hire is required, plus BLS, and ability to respond to emergencies. One year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
Current or provisional SLP license in the applicable state.
ASHA Certification within 1 year of hire; renewal at leader's discretion.
BLS certification.
Certifications must be current before caring for patients independently.
Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
Preferred: 1 year of experience; experience with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for assigned patients.
Follow departmental policies and procedures regarding referrals.
Collaborate with care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
