The Grosse Pointe Public School System is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with articulation and language needs. You will provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations, and help develop IEPs with measurable goals.

Engage with teachers and families, document progress, and ensure compliance with district policies. This full-time on-site role offers benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathology Licensure in Michigan with CCC's.
• Knowledge of the principles, practices and ethical standards for SLPs and related laws.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Ability to balance multiple demands and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct therapy and consultation to students with articulation, language, fluency or voice disorders.
• Conduct evaluations with team members to identify eligibility for services.
• Record screenings, evaluations and reports for eligibility decisions.
• Lead IEP development with measurable goals and facilitate IEP meetings.
• Support assistive technology use and create device materials.
• Deliver therapy per IEPs and complete required documentation.
• Maintain progress notes, reports and Medicaid billing usage.
• Assist staff with accommodations to support students in class.
• Support MTSS and trauma-informed practices; attend meetings and PD.
