Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to coordinate consultations and diagnostic evaluations for patients with communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia. You will interpret assessment data and craft treatment plans to restore function and prevent disability.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC from ASHA, and Georgia licensure, with BLS certification as an additional qualification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate program.
• CCC from ASHA (Certification of Clinical Competence).
• Georgia licensure in Speech-Language Pathology is required by law.
• BLS certification through AHA is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate consultations and diagnostic evaluations for patients with known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia.
• Interpret assessment data to inform treatment planning.
• Plan and perform speech-language pathology intervention programs to restore function and maximize patient potential.
