Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services in an interdisciplinary setting. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, and delivering therapy to address communication and swallowing needs.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and adherence to ethical standards. CCC-SLP is preferred or required, CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state SLP licensure is required; CCC-SLP is preferred or required; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through assessments and interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy to improve communication skills and swallowing abilities.
• Educate patients and families about disorders, therapy techniques, and progress strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in line with policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
