Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech, language, feeding and swallowing services to infants and toddlers under an IFSP. The role emphasizes timely service delivery for 0-3 children, with adherence to procedural safeguards and family-centered practice.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, be licensed in Texas (CCC or CFY with supervision available) and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree required in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas (CCC or CFY; MHMR can supervise CFY).
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays as identified in the IFSP.
  • Serve 0-3 children timely and in keeping with procedural safeguards, rights and needs.
  • Support families and embrace the mission and principles of early intervention in natural environments.

Description

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorder service to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families as identified in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). You will ensure that all (0-3) children are served timely and appropriately and in keeping with their procedural safeguards, rights and needs. This position fully embraces the mission and 7 key principles for providing early intervention services in the natural environment.

Minimum Requirements

Master's Degree

Defined Education

Speech and Language Pathology

Preferences

Experience in early childhood or pediatrics

Required License(s)

Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas - CCC or CFY (MHMR can supervise CFY)

Valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record

Must provide license and official documentation of all educational attainment i.e. Transcript/Degree/Certificate.
