Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide evidence-based services for infants and toddlers (0–3) with developmental delays. The role focuses on feeding, swallowing, and communication in natural environments, guided by the IFSP and family-centered goals.

The position requires TX licensure (CCC or CFY possible under supervision), and a valid driver’s license. Experience in early childhood or pediatrics is preferred. The agency supports its mission to improve lives.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas (CCC or CFY; MHMR can supervise CFY).
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Provide license and official documentation of all educational attainment (Transcript/Degree/Certificate).
  • Experience in early childhood or pediatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing therapy to infants and toddlers (0–3) per IFSP.
  • Deliver services in natural environments to support families and child development.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote goals in daily routines.
  • Adhere to program policies, safeguarding rights, and MHMR mission and values.

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorder service to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families as identified in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).You will ensure that all (0-3) children are served timely and appropriately and in keeping with their procedural safeguards, rights and needs.This position fully embraces the mission and 7 key principles for providing early intervention services in the natural environment.

Defined Education: Speech and Language Pathology

Preferences: Experience in early childhood or pediatrics

Required License(s)
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas - CCC or CFY (MHMR can supervise CFY)
Valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
