MHMR of Tarrant County seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech, language, and feeding/swallowing services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays under the IFSP, in natural environments.
The role emphasizes timely service delivery for 0-3 children and adherence to procedures and family needs. Texas licensure (ASHA CCC SLP or CFY, Texas license) and a valid Texas driver's license are required; pediatrics experience is a plus.
As a Speech Language Pathologist provides speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorder service to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families as identified in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). This role also ensures that all (0-3) children are served timely and appropriately and in keeping with their procedural safeguards, rights, and needs. This position fully embraces the mission and 7 key principals for providing early intervention services in the natural environment.
Defined Education: Speech and Language Pathology
Preferences: Experience in early childhood and pediatrics
License/Certifications: ASHA CCC SLP or Clinical Fellow working toward CCC SLP; Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Intern (CFY) license in Texas; Valid Texas Driver’s License
