MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays under the IFSP, in alignment with MHMR’s mission and core principles. The role emphasizes early intervention in natural environments and family-centered care.
Texas licensure with CCC or CFY supervision is required, plus a valid Texas driver’s license.
For over 50 years, MHMR has provided community-based services for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), mental health conditions, and substance use disorders, as well as babies and young children with developmental delays. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorder service to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families as identified in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). You will ensure that all (0-3) children are served timely and appropriately and in keeping with their procedural safeguards, rights and needs. This position fully embraces the mission and 7 key principles for providing early intervention services in the natural environment.
Speech and Language Pathology
Experience in early childhood or pediatrics
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas -CCC or CFY (MHMR can supervise CFY)
Valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
Must provide license and official documentation of all educational attainment (i.e. Transcript/Degree/Certificate).
