Job summary

Anova Education seeks a School Speech and Language Pathologist (PK-12) to identify and support students with communication disabilities. You will assess speech development needs and plan targeted treatment to maximize student success.

You will write and conduct evaluation reports, facilitate evaluation team meetings, create or revise IEPs, and maintain accurate student records. Direct and consultative services will support students and families across the school setting.

Qualifications

• Certification required for PK-12 school-based SLP.
• Experience with IEPs and evaluation reporting preferred.
• Ability to assess and plan speech language interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' speech development needs.
• Plan and implement appropriate treatment to maximize student success.
• Write and conduct evaluation reports.
• Facilitate evaluation team meetings.
• Create/revise IEPs.
• Maintain student records.
• Provide direct and consultative services to students.

This job is responsible for identifying students with communication disabilities with a goal of restoring and improving communication skills. Critical areas of the position include:

• assessing students speech development needs
• planning and implementing appropriate treatment to maximize student success
• writing and conducting evaluation reports
• facilitating evaluation team meetings
• creating/revising IEPs
• maintaining student records
• providing direct and consultative services to student with speech and language services
• participating in school aged transitioning meetings, evaluations and adopting IEPs
