Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist (PK-12) to identify and support students with communication disabilities, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with educators to maximize student success.

Responsibilities include assessing speech development, writing reports, participating in IEPs, conducting evaluations, and providing direct and consultative services to students with speech and language needs.

• Certification as a School Speech-Language Pathologist PK-12.

Additional Information:

This job is responsible for identifying students with communication disabilities with a goal of restoring and improving communication skills. Critical areas of the position include:

• assessing students speech development needs
• planning and implementing appropriate treatment to maximize student success
• writing and conducting evaluation reports
• facilitating evaluation team meetings
• creating/revising IEPs
• maintaining student records
• providing direct and consultative services to student with speech and language services
• participating in school aged transitioning meetings, evaluations and adopting IEPs
