Job summary

The Hartford School District, via its Regional Resource Center, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve high school–aged students through age 21. The role embeds SLPs in a collaborative program with academics, independent living, and vocational learning.

Ideal candidate holds or is eligible for ASHA CCC and Vermont SLP licensure and endorsement; strong collaboration with families and outside agencies is essential to support independence and community participation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with coursework and clinical experience for SLP certification.
• ASHA CCC or eligibility for ASHA certification/CFY.
• Vermont SLP license (OPR).
• Vermont Educational SLP Endorsement (AOE).
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language services, conduct evaluations, and develop IEP goals.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and outside agencies to support functional communication.
• Integrate AAC systems, visual supports, and assistive technology in daily programming.
• Work with teachers, therapists and staff to support communication across classroom instruction and activities.
