Job summary

The Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) is looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist for the CREC Resource Group in Hartford, Connecticut. The role requires administering diagnostic assessments, providing therapy, and developing service plans tailored to student needs.

Ideal candidates will possess a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and valid state certification, and be skilled in communication and interpersonal interactions. Join us in supporting diverse educational service programs for special needs students.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Valid Connecticut State Certification mandatory.
• Preferred ASHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide communication therapy and consultation to students.
• Evaluate and assess students with speech/language needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive service plans.
• Create student IEP goals based on needs.
• Provide consultative services to school personnel and families.
