Job summary

MARIONVALLEY in is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients, communicate with families and health team members, and maintain documentation in medical records. The role requires timely evaluations (within 24 hours), development of treatment plans, direct patient care, supervision of CFY/SLPAs, and participation in care conferences.

Licensed SLP in the state or eligibility through a national exam is required; Casamba and Point Click Care data entry is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in SLP and state licensure.
• Eligibility by national exam if state licensure is not available.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day of referral.
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Supervise CFY and SLP Assistants in direct patient care.
• Record evaluations and treatment notes in medical records.
• Instruct families and nursing staff for discharge preparation.
• Participate in care conferences and staff trainings.
