Job Responsibilities

This is not an exhaustive list. Employees are expected to follow instructions and perform duties as assigned.

  • Meet all requirements of Approved Autism Evaluation Center (AAEC) for diagnostic services.
  • Provide diagnostic services using standardized and informal assessments for language, communication, and oral-motor disorders.
  • Offer speech and language therapy based on developmental needs.
  • Lead and consult with staff for skill development.
  • Conduct oral-motor and feeding diagnostics and treatments.
  • Assess and coordinate augmentative/assistive communication technology.
  • Maintain accurate clinical and billing records.
  • Inform supervisors of clinical issues and activities.
  • Participate in research, quality assurance, and program evaluation activities.
Job Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or CFY candidacy.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license as per policy.
  • 2-5 years experience with children and adolescents, especially those with developmental disabilities or autism.
