Job summary

Topaz HR is seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) clinicians to support students' communication goals in school-based therapy programs. This full-time, in-person role is based in Coachella, CA, with opportunities for hybrid support where permitted and a competitive hourly rate.

You will assist SLPs, monitor progress, document outcomes, and collaborate with families and school staff to help students achieve IEP goals while maintaining a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• California SLPA Certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.

Location:Coachella, CA
Job Type:Full-Time
Work Setting:In-Person (School-Based)
Compensation:$37.00 - $56.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist Speech Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans tailored to students' individual needs
• Provide school-based therapy services as directed by supervising SLPs
• Monitor and document students' progress during therapy sessions
• Support students in achieving their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students
• Communicate effectively with team members, school staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes

Qualifications

• California State Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Certification (required)
• Minimum one (1) year of experience
• Experience working in a school setting (preferred)
• Strong communicationand organizational skills
• A passion for working with children and helping them succeed

Compensation & Benefits
