Job summary

Topaz HR is seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) clinicians to support students' communication goals in school-based therapy programs. This full-time, in-person role is based in Coachella, CA, with opportunities for hybrid support where permitted and a competitive hourly rate.

You will assist SLPs, monitor progress, document outcomes, and collaborate with families and school staff to help students achieve IEP goals while maintaining a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• California SLPA Certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Speech Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans tailored to students' needs.
• Provide school-based therapy services as directed by supervising SLPs.
• Monitor and document students' progress during therapy sessions.
• Support students in achieving their IEP goals.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
• Communicate effectively with team members, school staff, and families.
