Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide direct speech therapy services to K–12 students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Minneapolis, MN. The role includes implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with teachers and families to maximize outcomes.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field, and current SLPA license or eligibility, plus successful background

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required.
  • Current SLPA license or certification in the state of service (or eligibility) required.
  • DoJ/FBI background check completed or eligible.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students under the supervision of an SLP.
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans and document progress toward goals.
  • Support SLP in screenings, data collection, and informal assessments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families and staff to reinforce communication strategies.
  • Maintain therapy notes and progress documentation in compliance with IEPs.

You'll support the implementation of treatment plans, deliver direct therapy, and help students build the communication skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
