Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students in Minneapolis, MN. You will assess, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to improve communication skills and access to education.

The role requires a State SLP license, a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, DOJ/FBI Live Scan clearance, and strong collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formalized assessments and determine eligibility and level of functioning.
  • Deliver direct speech language therapy aligned with IEP goals.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs and participate in reviews.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs where applicable.

$50-$65/hour

Job Description:

26/27 School Year | $50-$65/hour | Full-Time | Minneapolis, MN | State SLP and PEL License Required

About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You’ll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning
  • Ability to conduct Speech Assessments in Spanish.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
  • Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
  • Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)
What We’re Looking For:
Must Have:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred:
  • One year of experience in speech therapy
  • Department of Education certification
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
  • Experience with school-based caseload management
