Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time school-based position in Mission Bend, TX. You will provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.

The role requires licensure in Texas, a DOJ/FBI Live Scan background, and TB clearance. Collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams is essential to maximize student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Texas or be eligible to obtain.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs and participate in reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support SLPAs and monitor supervision hours if applicable.
