Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a school setting under the supervision of a licensed SLP. The role focuses on delivering therapy, implementing plans, and collecting progress data.

The SLPA will collaborate with teachers and families, participate in data-driven sessions, and help prepare therapy materials. State SLPA license or credentials are required or in process where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLPA program or equivalent coursework.
• State SLPA license or credential (if applicable) or in the process of applying.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Implement treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs
• Support students in achieving IEP goals through therapy activities
• Collect and document data on student progress
• Assist with preparation of therapy materials and activities
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families as directed by the supervising SLP

Education
