Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support students’ communication and academic success in a school setting in South Carolina.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP, implementing treatment plans designed by the supervising SLPs and assisting families and teachers as directed. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLPA program or equivalent coursework in communication sciences and disorders.
• State SLPA license or credential (if applicable) or in the process of applying.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Implement treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs.
• Support students in achieving IEP goals through therapy activities.
• Collect and document data on student progress.
• Assist with preparation of therapy materials and activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families as directed by the supervising SLP.
