Job summary

Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech, language, and communication needs in a school setting.

You will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to help students improve communication skills, working with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans. This role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration, and data collection to monitor progress and adapt goals, with leadership support and resources

Qualifications

  • MA/M.S. in communication disorders recognized by ASHA.
  • ASHA CCCs or CF credentials.
  • GA State License SLP.
  • Teaching certificate, or ability to obtain (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Assessment of speech and language disorders.
  • Diagnosis and therapy services.
  • Development of IEP goals and objectives.
  • Progress monitoring and data collection.
  • Consultation and collaboration with teachers, parents, and school team members.
  • Work with other related service providers to support student goals.

Job Description:

Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate, self-directed, and organized individuals to support students with speech, language, and communication needs.

Position Summary:

As a school speech-language pathologist, you will work with students with communication disorders or difficulties, providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to help them improve their communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans and support students in reaching their educational goals.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA

  • Teaching certificate, or ability to obtain (if applicable)
