Job summary

Nyman Associates, Inc. seeks a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication needs.

You will work with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans and support students in reaching their educational goals. You will implement evidence-based practices, develop IEP goals, monitor progress, and collect data while collaborating with the school team.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders recognized by ASHA.
  • ASHA CCC’s or CF
  • State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License
  • Teaching certificate, or ability to obtain (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Provide diagnosis and therapy services.
  • Develop IEP goals and objectives.
  • Progress monitoring and data collection.
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school professionals.
