Job summary

Avabears is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year within the Ava R-1 School District. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Pathology and a license from the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts.

The assistant will work with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential support under the direction of a licensed speech/language pathologist. Qualifications

Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant

The Ava R-1 School District has an opening for a speech and language pathologist assistant for the 2023-2024 school year. The speech/language pathologist assistant must have a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders or a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology and be licensed through the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts. This position will serve students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Additional Duties

Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
