Job summary

Mercy seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for patients in accordance with department policies. Requires a Master's in Speech/Language Pathology and an SLP license in the practice state.

Preferred candidates have 1 year of experience and ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; BLS is required. Excellent communication skills and ability to respond to emergencies are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required.
• Current or provisional SLP license in the applicable state.
• Preferred one year of experience; experience with patients of all ages is a plus.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; BLS certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment plans.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures regarding referrals.
• Provide care to patients across all ages as assigned.
• Maintain current licensure and certifications as required.
