Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs in accordance with department policies and referral procedures.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, an SLP license (state-appropriate) or provisional status, and ASHA certification within one year of hire. BLS is required, with preference for at least one year of experience serving patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Current or provisional Speech Language Pathologist license in applicable state.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; BLS certified.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred experience: One year of experience; experience with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for assigned patients according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral.
• Provides comprehensive, individualized treatment plans and ongoing therapy.
