Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for patients in accordance with department policies. Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current or provisional state licensure.

ASHA certification within 1 year of hire and BLS certification are required, with the ability to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current or provisional Speech-Language Pathologist license in applicable state.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; BLS certification current.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• One year of experience preferred; experience with patients of all ages is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for assigned patients according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral.

Education

Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology

Speech Language Pathologist license (state licensure)

ASHA Certification (within 1 year of hire)

BLS Certification
