Job summary

Mercy seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for patients in accordance with department policies. The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and an active SLP license in the practice state.

ASHA certification within 1 year of hire and current BLS are required, with ability to respond to emergencies and provide care to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Current or provisional SLP license in applicable state required.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; BLS current; certifications must be current before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs per department policies.
• Responds to emergency situations.
• Care for patients of all ages; participates in referrals and collaboration with care team.
