Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation Hospital in Coral Gables, FL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. You will assess speech, language, and swallowing, develop targeted treatment plans, and educate patients and families while coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited) or eligible for ASHA certification.
• Experience working in acute or rehab settings.
• Florida license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (unrestricted).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
