Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to assess and treat speech, language and swallowing disorders. You will develop plans, educate families, document progress, and collaborate with the care team in an acute rehab setting.

Qualified candidates hold a master’s in SLP, an unrestricted Florida license, and CPR certification. Prior rehab experience is preferred and the role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Florida (unrestricted).
• Experience in acute or rehab settings.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
