Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Kokomo, IN is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based therapy and helping patients return home or progress to the next level of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate ofaCAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
• Basic Life Support certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient in inpatient rehab/acute care.
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, families, clinicians and hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital with physicians, case management, nurses, etc.

Your Responsibilities as an Inpatient Rehabilitation/Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)

Qualifications & Pay Range

Qualifications

• Graduate ofaCAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
• Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
• Basic Life Support certification

Compensation

Pay Range: $75,000-85,000/year as a starting range; more experienced candidates are encouraged to apply as well! (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
