Onward Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across two or more school sites in the Fort Stockton, TX area. The role involves evaluations, direct services, and progress monitoring to help students access learning and thrive socially.

Ideal candidates hold Texas SLP licensure, with school-based or pediatric experience preferred. You may travel between campuses and collaborate with educators and related service providers to implement goals and ensure

Qualifications

• Active SLP credentialing/licensure as required for school-based practice in Texas, or ability to obtain by start.
• School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Comfort managing a moderate-to-large caseload and traveling between multiple campuses.
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations and participate in eligibility/ARD/IEP processes as needed.
• Develop, implement, and document student goals, including IEPs/504s as applicable.
• Provide individual and/or small-group therapy services.
• Track progress and adjust interventions based on data.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to carry over skills in the classroom.
• Support functional communication needs, including AAC when applicable.
• Maintain timely documentation aligned with campus and special education compliance expectations.

Onward Education partners with school teams to connect students with high-quality, school-based clinicians. We’re currently hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity supporting students across two or more school sites in the Fort Stockton, TX area.

Brief Role Summary

In this school-based SLP role, you’ll support students’ communication and language development so they can access learning and thrive socially. You’ll provide evaluation, direct services, and progress monitoring, and collaborate closely with educators and related service providers. Bilingual is preferred.

• Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Setting: On-site, school-based (multiple campuses)
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Openings: 1
• Caseload: Approximately 50–60 students
• School Year: 2026–2027

Responsibilities

You will support students’ speech/language goals through a blend of assessment, therapy, and collaboration, including:
