Qualifications

• Valid State Driver's License or ability to provide transportation.
• CCC-SLP certification issued by ASHA.
• Must maintain Michigan licensure throughout employment.
• Brain Injury Specialist certification offered after hiring.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certification provided by Origami.
• Comply with Origami's core values and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Model positive behavior to foster a safe, respectful therapeutic environment.
• Document assessments, progress notes, discharge summaries, and billing information promptly.
• Design, coordinate, and lead effective group therapy sessions.
• Provide education on swallowing precautions and best practices to clients and staff.
• Supervise interns, volunteers, and job shadows; participate in committees and program development.
• Adhere to ASHA ethics and Michigan regulations while evaluating and treating referrals.
