King Manor is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist (SLP) to lead speech and swallowing rehabilitation within our facility, evaluating residents and directing therapy to restore communication and safe swallowing.

We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules with competitive pay ($48/hour; $60/hour per diem) and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, holiday pay, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Weekly appreciation events are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed and/or eligible for state licensure.
• Eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate residents and develop speech therapy goals, and document progress.
• Coordinate adaptive communication devices and train residents.
• Select activities matched to resident abilities and interests.
• Consult with rehab team to tailor therapy plan.
• Instruct residents in skills and monitor progress and behavior.
• Adapt the program to individual resident needs.
• Attend care and staffing meetings.
• Conduct training for staff in speech therapy techniques.
• Supervise supportive personnel per standards.
• Maintain and report on equipment needs.
• Ensure compassionate care and residents' rights.
