Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services is actively seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for school-based roles across Massachusetts for the 2026–2027 year. We offer PK–12 caseloads, flexible placement across districts, and a commitment to mentorship and supportive leadership.

Roles include Early Childhood through High School, with guaranteed pay and clinical fellowship opportunities. Compensation features a $10K sign-on and hourly pay of $55–$65, plus comprehensive benefits and relocation support where

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • CCC-SLP or CF-SLP eligibility required
  • Active MA SLP license or eligibility required
  • DESE Educator License (Speech, Language & Hearing Disorders) or eligibility
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, organization and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to PK–12 students
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
  • Support students’ communication skills across educational environments

Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

Responsibilities May Vary By Placement But Can Include

  • Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to PK–12 students
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
  • Support students with:
    • Articulation and phonological disorders
    • Receptive and expressive language needs
    • Social/pragmatic communication
    • Fluency disorders
    • Voice disorders
    • AAC and assistive communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
  • Support students’ communication skills across educational environments
