Job summary

Edgefield Post Acute in Edgefield, SC is seeking a compassionate Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat residents to improve communication and swallowing, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

We offer competitive hourly pay ($40-50/hour), flexible scheduling, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for CEU and advancement. New grads are welcome to apply and grow with our sister facilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state SLP license required.
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Celebrate milestones and encourage residents to reach meaningful goals.
