Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist in North Carolina to join our team. We provide compassionate, patient-centered care to seniors in living and skilled nursing settings, with a supportive environment from a $1.2B parent company.

You will conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, supervise assistants as needed, and ensure thorough documentation while upholding OBRA guidelines and state regulations. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice (NC).
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to US entry-level PT education by an approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts and plan of care.
• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for aging populations in senior living and skilled nursing settings.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Develop a robust therapy program in collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies

• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population

• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner

• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education

• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop a robust therapy program

• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated

• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines

• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care

• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations

• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
