Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine communication and swallowing abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients
• Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and attend continuing education courses to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a SNF setting
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and regulations related to SLP services
