Job summary

Ascension Health in Wichita, KS is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients in the rehabilitation setting. Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services; provisional license accepted until issued; licensure within 12 months of hire date.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; provisional license accepted until issued; licensure within 12 months of hire date.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

• Facility: Via Christi Rehab Hospital


• Specialty: Rehabilitation


• Schedule: Day Shift l PRN | Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Rotating Saturday/Sunday, one weekend a month and one holiday a year

• Document patient care journeys with precision to maintain accurate records that drive clinical excellence and continuous performance improvement.


• Support seamless care transitions by developing comprehensive discharge plans and connecting patients with the vital community resources they need to thrive after therapy.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.


• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education:
