Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat swallowing and communication disorders in a clinical setting. You will establish goals and implement tailored treatment plans after a full evaluation, collaborating with a coordinated care team.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as an SLP or ability to obtain before starting.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals and develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one through private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach

Requirements

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and treating patients with swallowing disorders and communication impairments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and developing tailored treatment programs.
