Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Westminster, CO is seeking an on-site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our center-based team serving children aged 2–6. You will assess, treat, and collaborate with BCBA, OT, and psychology colleagues to support communication and development.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders is required.
• License to practice speech pathology is required.
• Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site SLP services for children aged 2–6 in a center-based setting.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans with clinicians (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists).
• Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, OTs, and mental health professionals, including co-treatments with OT.
• Monitor progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to families.
• Partner with client families to develop goals and support their journey.

What You'll Do

• Serve as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for children ages 2-6 in a center-based setting.

• Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals, including co-treatments with the occupational therapy team.
• Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to team members and families.
• Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and support them in their journey.

Qualifications

• Desire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapy.
• Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• License to practice speech pathology.
• Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
• Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
• Ability to connect and engage with young children.
