Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an on-site Speech Language Pathologist to work with children ages 2-6 in a center-based setting. You will assess, plan and deliver communication therapies, including AAC, collaborating with BCBAs, OTs, psychologists and other clinicians.

You will monitor progress, adjust goals with families, and participate in weekly interdisciplinary care meetings. The organization emphasizes high-quality, ethical services and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• Licensure to practice speech pathology.
• Preference for 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
• Ability to connect and engage with young children.
• Experience with AAC preferred.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as an on‑site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for children ages 2-6 in a center‑based setting.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans with other clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists).
• Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental‑health professionals, including co-treatments with the occupational therapy team.
• Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to team members and families.
• Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and support them in their journey.

Qualifications

• Desire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapy.
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• License to practice speech pathology.
• Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
• Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
• Ability to connect and engage with young children.
