Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Denver, CO is seeking an on-site Speech Language Pathologist to work with children ages 2-6 in a center-based setting.

You will conduct multidisciplinary assessments, develop treatment plans with BCBA, OT, psychologists, and implement AAC-supported communication strategies, while partnering with families to set goals and support progress, under a mission of high-quality autism therapy.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• License to practice speech pathology.
• Preference for 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
• Experience or interest in AAC; ability to engage with young children.

We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally‑appropriate learning tailored to each unique child and family.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as an on‑site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for children ages 2-6 in a center‑based setting.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans with other clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists).
• Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals, including co‑treatments with the occupational therapy team.
• Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to team members and families.
• Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and support them in their journey.

Qualifications

• Desire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapy.
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• License to practice speech pathology.
• Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
• Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
• Ability to connect and engage with young children.

The salary for Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows is $85,500.
