Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Parker, CO is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work onsite with children ages 2-6 in a center-based setting. You will conduct multidisciplinary assessments, develop treatment plans with BCBA, OT, and psychology colleagues, and implement communication interventions including AAC devices to support client communication.

You will partner with families to set goals, monitor progress, and advance a culture of high-quality, ethical services.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• License to practice speech pathology.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience; open to new grads.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for children ages 2-6 in a center-based setting.

• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals, including co-treatments with the occupational therapy team.
• Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to team members and families.
• Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and support them in their journey.

Education

Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program

License to practice speech pathology

• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• License to practice speech pathology.
• Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
• Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
• Ability to connect and engage with young children.
