Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our on-site clinic team. You will work with children aged 2-6 in a center-based setting, conducting multidisciplinary assessments and developing tailored treatment plans with input from BCBAs, OTs, psychologists, and other colleagues.

Your focus will include AAC-driven communication interventions and family-centered goal setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CSD from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice speech pathology.
• Preference for 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
• Experience with AAC or interest in learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site SLP services for children aged 2–6 in a center-based setting.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans with BCBA, OT, psychologist teams.
• Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, OTs, and mental health professionals, including co-treatments with OT team.
• Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to families and team.
• Partner with client families to develop goals and support their journey.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals, including co-treatments with the occupational therapy team.
• Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to team members and families.
• Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and support them in their journey.

Qualifications

• Desire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapy
• Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• License to practice speech pathology.
• Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
• Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
• Ability to connect and engage with young children.

The salary for Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows is $81,500.
