Job summary

Ayden Healthcare Waterville in Ohio is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

You will conduct therapy sessions, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians, occupational and physical therapists to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with communication and swallowing disorders, including speech, language, and cognitive deficits
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals and improve communication and swallowing function
• Conduct speech and language therapy sessions with patients, including individual and group sessions
• Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas of improvement and adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote carryover and maintenance of skills learned during therapy
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
