Job summary

Seabrook Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for our Home Care team to support independently living residents across the community continuum of care. The role offers a per diem rate of $55 for on-site therapy services at Seabrook in Tinton Falls, NJ.

The position requires at least 1 year of experience with older adults, CPR certification, and a current state SLP license.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required or preferred.
• Current state SLP license required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with older adults in therapy settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, and treatments across the community continuum of care.
• Follow applicable guidelines and policies, ensuring compliant documentation and resident rights.
• Support residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs with a holistic approach.
• Implement personal care plans focusing on residents’ preferences and routines to promote comfort and belonging.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team to address residents’ needs throughout care.

Join our Home Care team as a Speech-Language Pathologists and support our independently living residents with daily living activities, providing personalized care to meet each resident’s needs. Compensation: Per Diem rate of $55

How You Will Make An Impact

• Providing speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings to meet customer needs across the community continuum of care.
• Following Federal, State, and all Payer guidelines, ASHA requirements, and company policies and procedures. Ensuring departmental understanding and compliance in the areas of care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance.
• Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Implementing residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care.

What You Will Need

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current valid state SLP license.
