Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Linden Ponds in Hingham, MA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support residents with speech, swallowing, cognition and voice therapies across the continuum of care.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, adhere to ASHA and payer guidelines, and provide resident-centered care that addresses physical, emotional, and clinical needs throughout the community. Compensation is $55 hourly with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with older adults in related therapies is preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current valid state license (for state where the community provides service) in Occupational Therapy Assistant, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings across the community continuum of care.
• Follow Federal, State, and payer guidelines, ASHA requirements, and company policies; ensure compliance in care provision, documentation, billing, and resident rights.
• Provide holistic support addressing residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Implement residents' care plans focusing on strengths, preferences and routines to offer comfort and belonging.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical team to address residents' needs throughout care.

Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) support our residents with daily living activities, providing personalized care to meet each resident’s needs. With all residents living on campus, you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of their journey throughout their continuum of care.

Compensation: The pay rate is $55 hourly.

How you will make an impact

• Providing speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings to meet customer needs across the community continuum of care.
• Following Federal, State, and all Payer guidelines, ASHA requirements, and company policies and procedures. Ensuring departmental understanding and compliance in the areas of care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance.
• Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Implementing residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care.

What you will need

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current valid state license (for state in which the community provides service) in occupational therapy Assistant, where applicable.
