Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our not-for-profit senior living care team in Texas. You will evaluate and treat swallowing and communication disorders, set goals, and deliver comprehensive SLP plans as part of a collaborative care model.

You will work weekdays with no weekend requirements, providing private, individualized sessions while advancing your clinical skills and career through company-paid CEUs and licensure support.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required or pursued.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
  • Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP treatment programs based on full clinical evaluation.
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plan of care for patients.
  • Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, function-based treatment sessions.
  • Demonstrate ability to tailor treatment sessions to individual patient needs.

  • Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
  • Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach

  • Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school.
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC- SLP)
